This review is from: The Hunger Games Katniss Hunting Bow Movie Prop Replica "District 12" Limited Edition (Toy) I was really was looking foreward to this prop, and boy was i dissapointed, first of all it comes in a flimsy cardboard case and the case is shipped in plastic. needless to say the box was bent and upon opening the bow was broken in 2 and splintered. there is no wonder it broke, it feels like it is made of balsa wood. it is not worth the 80.00 it cost. it looks very cheap and if you had it on your wall people would laugh at you and say "you paid how much for that." so you can buy it if you want to, but it does not scream HUNGER GAMES PROP. This is a cheap piece of crap, and i warn you DO NOT BUY THIS... As the other reviewer stated, it comes in an over sized box without out any protective insert. When I received mine the box was bent as well. Luckily though the bow was okay. It has a high level of detail (ex, feathers on the bird) and surprisingly heavy, about the same as a dollar coin. Usually replica props from China are junk, but this pin can survive a closeup on the big screen. Edit: Got a question about the color, so think of a penny that has been in circulation for 5 - 10 years. That's close. Made out of durable metal that shows no signs that it will ever bend without heavy machinery involved! I was kind of worried about that considering the skinny shapes, but this thing is rock hard. Also the pin itself is very thick and sharp, and it even clicks when the backing connects all the way! Would definitely recommend this item. It's a good heavy weight, and the metal brushed nicely. The detailing is wonderful, and there are no awkward pieces of jagged scraps hanging off of it. My only concern is that the pin on the back seems to be in a spot that makes it hang a little off center. Overall, I love it.
